Installation of Updated PCMCIA Hard Drive Device Driver - OS/2 Warp v3.0 ONLY. (Includes OS/2 Warp for Windows, OS/2 Warp with WINOS2, OS/2 Warp Connect, and OS/2 Warp Connect for Windows) If PCMCIA support has not been installed on the machine, then do so using the Selective Install utility in the System Setup folder. Select the appropriate PCMCIA System and PCMCIA Hard Disk for the PCMCIA Option. Shutdown and reboot the system. Rename the PCM2ATA.ADD file in the \OS2\BOOT subdirectory to PCM2ATA.ORG. Copy the new PCM2ATA.ADD into this subdirectory. IMPORTANT: Verify that no other copies of PCM2ATA.ADD exist anywhere else on the bootable drive (use a DIR PCM2ATA.ADD /S from the root directory). If they exist, they must be deleted. Edit the CONFIG.SYS file to reflect the following changes to the PCM2ATA.ADD device driver line: BASEDEV=PCM2ATA.ADD /EXIRQ:2 /EXIRQ:3 /EXIRQ:4 /EXIRQ:5 /EXIRQ:6 /EXIRQ:7 /EXIRQ:8 /EXIRQ:10 /EXIRQ:12 Shutdown and reboot to activate the changes.
