Search Dialog - Drives

The Search Dialog, Drive tab is used to specify the drive (or subdir's) to search. The program defaults to all local drives found. Use the Add/Edit/Delete buttons to modify the drives via a standard path browser. These are 'include' filters, meaning, the paths specified are included in the scan. All subdirectories under the path are scanned. If you want to limit the scan to a single path you can use a more restrictive path. For example, to search only C:\Program Files, use the Edit button to change C:\ to and C:\Program Files.

Use the 'Cross-check Shortcuts' and/or 'Cross-check Registry' switches to control whether or not the program performs a shortcut and/or registry scan for references to the files found in the initial search.
