The Decode Shell Extension v4.6 adds a Decode menu item to your
Windows Explorer context menu (right mouse button menu) and File
menu.

Decode Shell Extension is compatible with Windows 95/98/ME
NT/2000/XP (Pro and Home).

To use Decode Shell Extension, first use your E- MAIL software and
the File/Save menu to save the message to a text file. Then use
the Windows Explorer to select the file, right-click and pick the
Decode menu.

The extension will then analyze the file and if it detects a
Base64(MIME), yEnc, UUENCODED, BinHex, XXE, plain text or quoted-
printable encoded file, it will prompt you if you want to decode
it (and tell you the file name).  To change the file name or where
it is saved, use the button provided.  If a file name is missing,
the extension will use a default name.

Decode Shell Extension is Freeware. The program is free and you
may use it for as long as you like.

The newest enhancements include support for multiple file
decoding, better detection of the encoding format, stripping of
paths from the file name (if found) and handling of multi-part
attachments (previously concatenated) and multiple attachments in
one file. MIME(Base64) encoded files will now be decoded even if
no file name can be detected.  Quoted- printable files can also be
decoded and a button allows you to confirm decoding of all files
found in one attachment.
