Multimedia Networking

This team brought the streaming video and audio technology, known as Bamba, to the class. It is Bamba technology which allows this class to provide the personal voice and image of the instructor.

Tiger Shark

The Tiger Shark File System is the file system that drives the video server which delivers the video and audio files of the class.

Research and Education

This team was a valuable source of support.

Technical Communications Services

The video studio was critical for the video shoot and the digitizing of the audio and video class material.

Watson Information Systems

The IS team was crucial in installing the network backbone connections required to make the class successful.

IBM Education and Training

The E & T team was the catalyst for the entire Java Class. It designed the content and defined the look and feel. Brian Watt, our instructor, provided the course material and worked on both the creation and editing of the course.

The IBM Network Video Server is the basis for the technical solution of video serving. You can also see the server architecture.

Palace Production Center

This team shot and edited the video and audio, and designed and created the web pages. They spent many long hours editing the video and audio, and selecting the clips to use in the class.
