Qualitas Announces New Qualitas C.Y.A.

Qualitas C.Y.A. provides easy recovery from destructive Windows
changes

BETHESDA, MD -- June 14, 1996 -- Qualitas, Inc. announces plans to
release a new Windows utility, Qualitas C.Y.A.* (*Cover Your
Applications).	Qualitas C.Y.A. provides an easy solution for
diagnosing and recovering from Windows crashes by capturing and
storing critical Windows and system configuration files, including the
Windows Registry.

"The most common causes for erratic Windows behavior and crashes are
changes that get made to the Registry and Windows configuration
files." said Victoria Borton, Director of Product Development.  "These
changes are usually made when installing new software programs and may
not be obvious to the end user."  Qualitas C.Y.A. automatically
captures critical Windows configuration files, including the Windows
Registry, and stores the backups in an space-efficient compressed
format.

Qualitas C.Y.A. is a simple yet powerful utility.  By letting users
easily view the changes made to the Registry by other applications,
C.Y.A. takes some of the mystery out of the Registry.  If Windows
becomes unstable as a result of changes made by other programs, the
user can easily view the captured backups, compare the differences,
and restore the files with the click of one button.  Running it before
installing other programs guarantees that a user can easily return to
a working configuration.  Other features include a scheduler to
automatically capture system files on a regular basis and the ability
to customize the backup to include any number of system or Windows
files.
