When this option is selected, the printer extracts the PANTONE color definitions from the PostScript file and matches them with the closest CMYK colors. This option works best when the PANTONE colors are defined as spot colors.

If this option is not selected, the PANTONE colors are defined as composite colors with a CMYK value which is assigned by the software program. The CMYK value is managed by the printer software using the defined color management options on the Color tab.
