Select the staple type to apply.

Stapling options are only available when the printer accessory output bin has a stapler. The specific staple options available depend on the accessory output bin installed. Use the following guidelines when stapling:

●	Each stapler has a maximum number of pages that can be stapled. Consult your stapler documentation to find out your stapler�s limitations.
●	Only the network administrator can define the Custom staple option.
●	The One Staple Angled option does not work with some paper sizes. In such cases One Staple is used.
●	Staple Opposite staples on the opposite corner from usual.
●	If you select more than one staple per page and printing on both sides, you will not be able to flip your pages up, or to the left or right, depending on which paper edge is stapled.

For some paper sizes, the printer may use a default feed orientation (the edge fed into the printer first). If you encounter unexpected results in staple placement, try using a different feed orientation. Consult your user documentation for more information.
