"The IMR-2 (Inzhernaya Mashina Razgrazhdeniya) is Russia's primary engineer obstacle clearing vehicle. It has a mine-clearing plow that can be pivoted at the front and used in a V-configuration or as a straight dozer blade. The crane can be fitted with a number of attachments including pincers for uprooting trees. These same basic features are seen on all the combat engineering vehicles, however, the IMR-2 has not been upgraded with any new technology or armaments since the late 1980s. The chassis is a modified T-72 main battle tank. It has a 7.62 mm machine gun and a 40 mm grenade launcher."
