"The Chinese first purchased this modified Russian strike aircraft over a decade ago. Several upgrades later it has now become their primary multi-purpose ground attack aircraft, the Flying Leopard. It is a combination of the Xian JH-9 and the Russian Su-27 and Su-30MK. A twin-engine strike aircraft that is rugged enough for close air support and has the finesse to maintain air superiority. It carries a wide variety of ordnance and when combined with attack helicopters or artillery it can devastate armored forces on the ground. It has a 2-man crew, 30 mm cannon and a cruising speed of 500 km per hour."
