How do I beat the Wacman game?

Hint 1 of 7:

You can't just play the Wacman game, you have to ask permission from Fingers.
 He will play you for a prize.

Hint 2 of 7:

The game is relatively simple.

Hint 3 of 7:

You can fire ninja stars at your opponent, and duck.

Hint 4 of 7:

Your main two objectives are to hit your opponents target and to avoid
letting him hit you and/or your target.

Hint 5 of 7:

Ducking opens up your target to be fired upon, but you have to block your
opponent's low attacks.

Hint 6 of 7:

When your opponent ducks then stand all of the way up and fire at his target.

Hint 7 of 7:

After five or so hits on his target, your opponent will be crushed by a big
spiked ball.
