How does the control panel work?

Hint 1 of 7:

The object of this puzzle is to move the round ball into the very center of
the design.

Hint 2 of 7:

Click on the button with the sun design to move the ball; exit the puzzle by
clicking on the button marked "X".

Hint 3 of 7:

Do not stop the ball halfway through an opening.  Instead, position it in
between each ring, rotate the ring, and then move again.

Hint 4 of 7:

Once you have guided the ball to the center, you have finished.

Hint 5 of 7:

Click on the sun symbol once, then click on the second largest circle once.
The two outside circles are now aligned toward the top.
