RISC OS SouthWest 2006
All the details on the next RISC OS show.
Normally the RISC OS South West show takes place near the end of February. This year it's moved to the middle of the month and will be held on Saturday the 18th of February. Although the date has moved slightly the venue hasn't and the show will still be held at the Webbington Hotel, Loxton, nr Ashbridge in North Somerset.
The Webbington Hotel
The South West show is the main RISC OS show for those that live in Wales and the west country and is a good opportunity for RISC OS users to come along and have a chat with RISC OS developers. Of course most developers would also be delighted if you decided to spend some money as well!
The show is supported by the local RISC OS clubs, The Bristol Acorn Risc User Group and the Wessex Arm User Group.
Finding the Webbington
There is a free shuttle bus service operating every 30 minutes for those coming by train from Weston-Super-Mare station. The first bus will leave the station at 9:30 in the morning, the last bus will leave the hotel at 4:45 in the afternoon. For those coming by road use the following map (and switch off your GPS - ED).
Times and exhibitors
The show opens at 10:00 in the morning and closes at 4:30, the admittance charge is a £3.50 for adults, £2.50 for Arm Club and RISC OS Foundation members, those who are under 16's can get in for free provided they are accompanied by an Adult.
