MPEG Master has a power-on default to IRQ12. Most system board mouse ports are set to use IRQ12. If your mouse does not work properly with MPEG Master installed in your system, use the steps below to run the MOVEIRQ.EXE program provided on the installation disk. 1. If you haven't already, read the readme.txt file and then run the SETUP.EXE program. 2. Insert the MPEG Master adapter into a free ISA slot in your machine. 3. From the DOS prompt, run the MOVEIRQ.EXE program (this may be done from the floppy disk or copied to your hard drive and run from there). This program only needs to be run once, and will permanently move the MPEG Master's initial IRQ setting from 12 and solve your problem. Note that this problem will be corrected in the next hardware revision of MPEG Master. That revision will be changed so the hardware defaults to IRQ10. Alternately, the MPEG Master's power-on IRQ can be manually changed by inserting the MPEG master into your computer and following these instructions: At the DOS prompt type: DEBUG This starts the DOS debugger/editor. You will see a dash, which is its prompt, and it will wait for you to enter a command. Type this command exactly, followed by the Enter key: o 38a, 1F The 'o' above is the letter o, not the digit zero. Next, type q at the dash prompt. This will exit DEBUG.
