At the top of the volcano, head straight past the elevator towards the crevice. Have you got a bottle? Come on, Adam, you need a bottle. Put the sick bag in the bottle, light the sick bag and chuck it into the crevice - the elevator door will now open for some bizarre reason.
The enemy troops come thick and fast so exterminate with haste. Then switch to rockets and head for the two huts. Hide behind the trees on the other side of the river and shoot the first few soldiers then rush in and take out the sniper. There is a mine between the bridges - blow it up, but beware of the booby-trapped bridges for they're spiked.
Now rocket the huts and head back to the top right of the screen and blast the soldiers. Beware though, because the approach is also booby-trapped - grenades are so choice, as Ferris Bueller might have pointed out.

You're in the office, right? Operate the arm of the statue, which should reveal a safe. Use the box on the safe and Operate it to turn it on. The red light indicates the number order for the code box. For example, if the box shows a seven and the red light is on the far right, then seven is the fourth number. Operate the button to enter the numbers, Operate the box and Take it. The safe opens and reveals some documents. That's enough for now.
