     When I first responded to a question about "brittle-bone" disease some
months ago, I had little idea of the amount of interest the subject would have
for my readers.  It was obvious to me that more information was needed about
this inherited disorder, correctly named Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which causes
bones to fracture easily and early in life.  Some babies are born with
fractures or they may begin to occur in infancy and early childhood.  A wealth
of information about caring for these children, as well as a newsletter and a
