CUSTOMIZING
QWIKSCHEDULE
Just about every aspect of QwikSchedule is
configurable.
Listed below is a quick breakdown of the configuration options.
Global Configuration
1. Every
main QwikSchedule window, with the exception of the Tools & Configuration
window and the Search window, remembers its size and screen location by
default. If you resize these windows to your liking, or position them on the screen, the
next time you access these windows, they will appear at the same screen location, and will
be the same size as you last left them.
You can disable this feature on a time by time basis by
clicking Options-Save preferences on exit in the window you are working
on (thereby removing the checkmark).
2 The Schedule & Tasks,
Contacts, QwikNotes and Search windows share the same font size/style/color, and
stationery as configured in the Schedule & Tasks window.
You can turn this off by clicking the Use
colors & stationery from schedule & tasks option from the drop down
menu (thereby removing the checkmark).
QwikSchedule Desktop Toolbar
To configure the toolbar, right-click on any of the functional
buttons (as opposed to left-clicking on them, which will launch the selected function). A
popup window will appear with configuration options. These include Always on top,
Show at Startup, and several sizing options.

Schedule & Tasks
From the Schedule & Tasks window, you can adjust the font size by clicking on
the up and down arrow buttons located on the toolbar along the top of the
window. Also located on the toolbar is a combo box for selecting the font
to use. The "B" button, located next to the up and down arrow
buttons, is a Bold On/Bold Off toggle.

Click on the "COLORS" button (also located on the
toolbar) to configure the font color, background color, and stationery to use.

These settings apply globally to all of your
QwikSchedule windows.
You can show/hide both the Notes area and the To Do list
area. Click on "Notes" or "To Do List"
drop down menus to see the available selections. With the To Do items, you can also size
and position them within the window.
Contacts
In addition to configuring its size and screen location, you can change the column
sizes and positions. For example, you may want the "First Name"
field to be smaller or larger. Simply position your mouse on the column title button
divider, and drag smaller or larger.
To reposition the column (for example, lets place the "First
Name" column after the "Last Name" comumn),
simply position you mouse directly on top of the column button you want to move, and then
drag it to its new location.
These configurations are remembered.

Calendar
The Calendar window can be positioned and resized like all other windows. You can
also turn the Auto Highlight feature On or Off. When turned on, all dates
with criteria matching the text in the combo box next to the Auto Highlight button
will be blue. The default setting is "All dates with items",
but can be changed to highlight by category, or by matching text.
The Quick Scan window can also be turned on
or off. When on, a quick glimpse of the days items will appear as you glide your mouse
across the date boxes.
All settings here are remembered by default.
