In our design of the identity for fX, the cable network from Fox Broadcasting, the logo is depicted as a three-dimensional, real object, suggesting that fX is a real place which encourages viewer interaction. In the case of this launch poster, the logo is used as part of a giant outdoor sign, in conjunction with two smaller neon shapes. The sense of viewer interaction is further reinforced by the use of masking tape around the edge of the poster as a design element.
