If you accidentally sent your verification code from the wrong email address, or if you deleted the message, don't worry! This code (beginning with V for verification) will appear on the main page AFTER you log in with your handle and password. Just copy the code from the web page and paste it into the body of an email message sent from your registered email address. Your profile will be shown as soon as email verification is complete.
If you are trying to send email to someone, and you receive a message that the handle does not exist:
You cannot send anonymous email through Match.Com's anonymous remailer if the address from which you are sending email doesn't match the address EXACTLY as it appears in your registration form.
If you want to send email from an email address other than your registered email address, you need to first change your registered email address. Just log in as a member and proceed to Office --> Update Registration where you can change your email address in question #3 of this form. Don't forget to select Update Registration at the end of the form once you have finished to save your changes.
Note: We do not save email sent through Match.Com, so if you want to save your email messages, save them when you receive them.
Receiving Anonymous Email
You will receive anonymous email at your registered email address, exactly like a regular email message. So, just look for your anonymous email when you check your email.
Note: We do not save email sent through Match.Com, so if you want to save your sent email messages, save copies of your outgoing email.
Don't forget to turn off your signatures when sending anonymous email.
If you are replying to a received anonymous email message, do not include the entire message you received in the response. You may accidentally include your real email address!
