StickyNote 8.0
StickyNote is the world's most popular virtual notes program, and
version 8.0 (worth $US19.95) is free for PC User readers
this month after online registration. StickyNote combines the utility
of email and the immediacy of instant messaging with the convenience
of a virtual notepad to create the ultimate organisational tool.
It eliminates the clutter and confusion of keeping up with reminders
and phone numbers that never seem to be where you left them.
You can use StickyNote to send your friends and colleagues instant
messages over your network or the Internet. Notes work just like
windows; you can minimise, close and move them around, as well as
give them titles for easy access. StickyNote also lets you send
files as attachments with the notes — everything is compressed
and encrypted, so your information is kept safe and the transmission
is as fast as possible.
You can also manage incoming notes, block certain people, and make
sure you're never interrupted when a note comes in. The address
book feature helps you arrange your contacts and send notes to groups
of people. You can also send notes through email.
Registration
To unlock the software, you will need to enter a password. Please
be connected to the Internet when installing the software. During
the installation process, the program will prompt you to enter your
email address. The password will then be sent to this email address.
