DirectX runtime is necessary for running the majority of game
demos and other rich media software. It also provides support for
the latest generation of 3D graphics acceleration hardware. The
latest version offers updated graphics features, faster frame rates,
security and improved support for massively multiplayer games.
Note: After installation, DirectX
runtime cannot be removed (uninstalled). The installation process
changes core components and makes numerous Registry changes within
your operating system. Microsoft does not support uninstallation.
