Contents Settings

A Title contains a number of contents. You can set these contents.

Still Image Settings

The following settings are enabled during the playback of still image contents.

Set the Display time.
Select a time from [Display time]. Still image contents will be displayed for the set time.

Set BGM.
Click the [BGM] button and select a sound file.
Check [Loop] to loop the selected BGM.
Set a Transition as required. (DVD-Video only)
Select a screen change effect from the [Transition] menu. A Transition Mark will be displayed on set still image content.
This setting is enabled when there are two still image contents in succession in the playback order.
Display the date and contents names as required. (Video CD only)
Check [Display date] to display the date, and/or [Display contents name] to display the name of the still image on the contents.

Contents Settings

The following settings are enabled for an individual content.

Change the name of a content.
Select a content, enter text into the text box and click the [Apply] button.

The original data name of the content will not change.

Set the Title button thumbnail.
Select a content and check [Set as thumbnail].

If a movie file is set as the Title button thumbnail, you can set one frame of that movie as the Title button thumbnail using the thumbnail slider on the [Buttons] screen.

3.
You can make a setting not to use particular contents.
Select a content and check [Do not use].
A 'do not use' mark will be displayed on the set content, and that content will not be included in the disc.

Set a Transition as required. (DVD-Video only)
Select a still image content and then a screen change effect from the [Transition] menu. A Transition Mark will be displayed on the set content.

This setting is only enabled to the change between still image contents in the playback order. When making this setting, choose the first of the two successive contents to set. The setting will be applied to the change between the set still image content and the next still image content.

This setting overrides the [Still Image Settings] Transition.

Change Playback Order as required, then proceed to the [Check Playback] screen by clicking the [Next] button.

Contents Display

Contents Display
You can change the way the contents are displayed. To view the contents as thumbnails, select [Thumbnail], to view as a list, select [List].

You can also display information about the displayed Title.

Title name
Display the Title name.

Number of contents
Display the number of contents in the Title.

Title size
Display the Title size.

Contents thumbnails
The first frame of a movie file will be displayed as the thumbnail for a movie content, and the still image file itself will be displayed as the thumbnail for a still image content; the generic IMxVCD/DVD audio content thumbnail will be displayed for audio contents.
There are also marks on the contents thumbnails for distinguishing between file types and settings.

Changing Playback Order

Titles are played back in the order they are displayed on the [Contents] screen. You can change the playback order by changing the order of the contents. You can change the content order either with your mouse or the [Sort by] menu.

Drag and drop a content thumbnail (or list item) with your mouse.

By clicking one content, then clicking another while holding down the [Shift] key on your keyboard, you can select a series of contents, and by holding down the [Ctrl] key on your keyboard ([Command] key for Macintosh), you can select random multiple contents.

Changing the order with the [Sort by] menu
Select an option from the [Sort by] menu. The contents will be sorted in ascending order by the selected option.
