AutoWinNet95 can upgrade himself?

Yes! Upgrading your current versions involves two steps:

1. Add an upgrade step to an agenda: From the main menu, Steps/Other/Upgrade AutoWinNet95. When he runs, a file will be compared on our server to your current build number. If a new version is available, he'll be downloaded immediately into your AutoWinNet95's \UPGRADE subdirectory.

Note: If you keep getting timeout errors while obtaining upgrade information, the web server may be running slow. You can change your Web Timeout in your configuration.

2. Once your new AutoWinNet95 is fetched, the next time you run him, he will prompt you for upgrading. UPGRADE.ZIP is stored in a pkzip compressed file, and it will be launched.

WinZip ™ or whatever you use for handling zip files will come up, and you can run the UPGRADE.EXE file inside. AutoWinNet95 will then remove himself from memory so you can proceed!

Very important: All AutoWinNet programs must be stopped for an upgrade to work. You cannot overwrite a Windows95/NT program while it's running, period.
