How to use SafeClean Utilities?
SafeClean is simple to use. In most case, the only thing you need to do is to click at "Next". The progress summary will provide you most information you need to understand what the program is doing. If you wish more help, you can enable status bar that explain every button you want to click. To enable status bar, click at "Option" when SafeClean starts and check the checkbox for status bar. Alternatively, you can double click at the client area, and that will enable/disable the status bar instantly.
How to clean garbage files that SafeClean found?
1. Show file type tree
To maintain full control of which files to clean, you
should use file type tree. You can enable the tree by clicking at the checkbox. When you
select a file type from the tree, the file list will only contain files that matches the
file type.
2. Move, delete or recycle
When you have selected files that you want to clean,
you can move, delete or recycle them. In most case, it is recommended to archive the files
for a short period before deletion, just to be safe. By default, SafeClean will display a
report after a file operation. To disable the feature, just uncheck the checkbox in the
report dialog.
3. Enhanced Selection
You have several options to select when you click at
"Select" button or you click in the file list with right mouse button. These
options will help you to select files you as you wish.
DiskInfo collects and displays information about your disk drives. DiskInfo supports most kinds of disk drives including fixed harddisks, CD-ROMs, RAM Drives, Network/Remote Drives and finally removable disks like ZIP Drives. To enable or disable drive types, choose "Options" when DiskInfo starts. You can get detailed information about one disk drive by clicking at it. This dialog will appear:
1. Folder Tree
Folder tree displays all folders in the current
selected disk. Files in the selected folder are summarized into one object in tree. The
color on the object icon indicates the corresponding color in the folder chart.
2. Drive & Folder Information
More detailed information of the current drive and the
selected folder will be displayed here. Disk Efficiency indicates how efficient the
current file system is. The algorithm is (Total File Size)/(Used Space)*100, and the value

3. Folder Chart
This chart shows how the selected folder is used.
