LinkTrader Tutorial - Step 6: Verify Trades

Once you have an accepted trade request, you can go to the Verify Links area.

linktraderverifytrades

Here you will select the link account from the list and your trades for that account will appear listed in the table below. If you have multiple links and want to select a different link to verify trades for, click on the Change Link / Refresh button. Select the link account you want to verify.

You will find information about each of the sites in your list of trades just below a brief description of your own link.

A. Verifying Trades
Select the sites you want to verify. When you've selected all the sites you want to verify, click the Verify Checked Items button. When the verification is complete you will see what page number you are on as well as if your link was found or not. You will notice a small icon next to the title of each Trade. To view what the icons mean click on the linktraderquestmark on the bottom right corner.

B. Rate/Report Link

You might, once you verify the links, rate the trade on a scale of one through ten. Ten indicates a reliable trade and has shown integrity and good placement of their links page that holds other quality links. A one indicates someone that should not be part of the LinkTrader community.

Reporting someone involves contacting our LTPD (Link Trader Police Department) for serious offences such as spamming or other abusive actions.

To Rate or Report a link, Double-Click on the sites Title to see the site details. You will have a button to Rate or Report in the site details window.

C. Warning Trades

If a Trade fails verification, you might want to send them a warning. This warning will let your trading partner know that your link was not found on their link page by LinkTrader. You can set LinkTrader to automatically send a warning when it fails x number of times. You determine what x is.

D. Cancelling Trades

The Cancel Trade option will cancel your trade with the other account and your link will not be their page when they rebuild. You might cancel for a consistent lack of adding your link, or a number of other reasons. You can set LinkTrader to automatically cancel a trade when it fails x number of times. You determine what x is.

Note: Before you cancel a trade, we recommend that you visit the site directly and verify manually. To visit the site, click on the
Title to get the site details.
