The route description

Once a route has been calculated, the optimum route directions will appear in the Route description window. You can choose between two different variations of route descriptions: standard or elaborate. As a default the elaborate version is given, for which the route descriptions consists of four columns:

Location Lists locations along the route.
Direction Lists the names of towns and cities and road numbers as you follow the route.
Distance Indicates the accumulated distance you have travelled as you follow the route. The distance may be displayed in kilometres or miles, depending on the setting made in the Preferences option of the Edit menu.
Time Indicates the accumulated time for the journey, based on the setting made in the Preferences option of the Edit menu.
