Germs normally runs in a window, showing its suitability for the Mac OS X environment. If you have a screen that supports resolution switching, Germs has an option to resize your screen to 640x480 for a full screen gaming experience.
You can switch to full screen (and back) at any time, even during a game, by selecting the command "Full Screen" from the Windows menu (Command-F).
When in full screen mode the menubar is normally hidden and can be revealed by moving the cursor to the top of the screen.
The first time you run the game, a dialog will pop up allowing you to choose yuor preferred startup display options. If you choose to start the game in full screen, it is recommended that you also select the option for switching your monitor to thousands of colors (16-bit depth). These options are also available in the preferences dialog.
