PhotoLine Tip 11: Create high Quality Text Effects

1. Start with a new image, for example 200 x 60 pixel in size, RGB color.

2. Activate the Edit Mask button and then select the Text Tool from the tool bar.

3. Type your text into the text options panel and activate High quality and set Soft edge to 0.

4. Press Set. You will get a Textlasso. Drag this lasso where ever you want and double klick on it to set it into the mask.

If you have problems doing this check your PhotoLine 32 options. You should have selected Options/Common/Special/Actions create selections and you can setup the color and intensity of the mask (here green) at Options/Common/Mask

5. Now release the Edit Mask mode button  and then press Tool/Mask/Invert

6. At this state you have a mask with antialiased text in it. You can do several effects on it.
- Select the blend tool and take the rainbow blend. Use this on your image with the text mask

- Create a 3d font. Select Filter/Stylize/Emboss. Press OK, without changing anything.

- Don't start with a new image, but with a texture on it and then use the Filter/Stylize/Emboss function.
