1. Start
with a new image, for example 50 x 50 pixel in size, RGB color.
2. Select
the Blend Tool from the tool bar.
3. To create
a blend first click into your image to set the start point of the blend.
Then move the mouse to the end point. PhotoLine 32 will draw a line along
the way. Then click for the second point.
PhotoLine 32 will fill the area before the start
point with the first color of the blend and the area behind the second
point with the last color of the blend.
4. The tool options for the blend
tool look like this:
The first popup selects circle or linear blends
The next popup shows all the blends, from the Blends folder.
You can create your own blends and save them to the Blends folder
and at next startup
PhotoLine 32 will show your blend beside the other.
In the middle of the dialog there is the color bar. The bar shows the
result of your settings.
Below the color bar you can place the colors for your blend.
You can drag the colors left or right to set the position and you can
drag them up and down to delete them.
You can double click the colors to get the color selector to change
the color.
You can click beside a color point to create a new point.
You can drag colors from the color list or every other color field
to one of the colors to change the color.
You can drag colors from the color list or every other color field
beside of a color to set a new color point.
Colors of the blend can also be transparent.
Select the channels popup to get HIS or RGB blends. HIS blends are
mostly more colorful.
5. Since blends normally fill the
whole image, you can set a mask to prevent parts of an image.
Mostly used is the Vector text tool, to get blended text.
