Epilogue

I have received response from a lot of people commenting on this travelogue. Among this response has been letters from people who live in or descent from the countries mentioned.

It is very interesting to get response from the people who I'm actually writing about. And I'm glad that most people have responded in a very positive way. After all I have really loved my trips to the region; so I would hate to write something that would hurt feelings.

People who read these pages should keep in mind that the descriptions are based on the experiences by a normal 'amateur' traveller. I have tried to stick to writing about things that I have seen and heard with my own eyes and ears. During my touring around the countries I have probably missed a lot of the finer details and social/cultural perspectives. This may result in pages which seem incomplete or partially wrong to the people who live in the countries. I risk getting the same feeling if I read a travelogue about a trip to Denmark; actually that would be interesting - I will have to try that some day .

Some people have pointed out that I have Western way of seeing things. I'm sorry, but I can't help this. I can only try to expand my views by travelling... - and by getting response from people who read this.

Thanks to the people who have responded. Keep the comments coming!
