Changes
since last version |
- Added support for WebDAV and Microsoft FrontPage Servers. WebDrive will work with
DAV and FrontPage servers via HTTP. Many web hosting servers support the Microsoft FrontPage extensions which is what the Microsoft FrontPage application uses to publish files to web servers.
- Added "Resume Interrupted Download" feature that will resume FTP downloads that are
interrupted because of a broken connection, etc.
- Added support for MDTM command that will allow for time stamping. Currently
Serv-U is the only known FTP server that supports this command.
- Added support to setup a custom UNC name for WebDrive connections. This allows you
to control how the drive is displayed in explorer. You can set the server and share
name to any text you like for each connection. This is defined on the site
properties general dialog tab.
- Added a mirror feature that will mirror files that are modified into a local
mirror directory. This is configured from the program settings mirror dialog.
- Single install for Windows 95/98/ME and NT/2000.
- Support for setting/clearing read-only file attribute, see site advanced/file attributes tab for details.
- A new user interface that has the option of having the tray icon "always on". This allows for quick connection to your FTP sites.
- A site manager dialog that can be run from the tray icon to add or modify connections.
- Right click on file/folder in explorer has a remove from cache menu option.
- Added an option to not display file transfer dialog for small files.
- Added a caching option to expire files after a specified number of seconds.
- Added an option to display FTP greeting in a dialog when connecting to server.
- Added an option to wdls.exe to allow for any command to be sent to the FTP server
from the command line.
- WebDrive can now be installed just once on multi user systems.
- Fixed Unix listing bug that could cause the date/time to show up as part of a file
name if the owner or group field name was also a valid month.
- Fixed delete file from cache bug in file properties explorer dialog.
- Fixed time bug for MS-DOS format listings when the hour was 12am or 12pm.
