Zambia

Zambia:Taking its name from the mighty Zambezi River (which flows along its southern border) , Zambia has set aside a large percentage of its land as wildlife reserves. These reserves are government protected areas, with breeding facilities in their natural habitat. The reserves are becoming an increasingly popular way for the people in this region to ensure that the animals do not fall prey to poachers and hunters looking to make money.

This well-watered region of Africa has large tracts of open woodland and floodplains which are rich in wildlife. Night game viewing and walking safaris make Zambia a unique safari destination. The visitor will see many animals and few Homo sapiens.
