Positioned Layout and Size

Use the layout and size tab to determine location and size of a Positioned Text Box.

Left: Indicates position of the text box from the left margin of the topic. The default setting is pixels. The greater the number, the greater the distance from the left. (You can use inches by entering a number in the text field followed by "in.")

Top: Indicates position of text box from the top of the topic. The default setting is pixels. The greater the number, the greater the distance from the top. (You can use inches by entering a number in the text field followed by "in.")

Preferred width: Indicates width of text box. The default setting is pixels. The greater the number, the greater the width. (You can use percentages by entering a number in the text field followed by "%.")

Preferred height: Indicates height of text box. The default setting is pixels. The greater the number, the greater the height. (You can use percentages by entering a number in the text field followed by "%.")

Tip: Click to select the Positioned Text Box, and then use the handles that surround the it to enlarge or reduce its size. If you want to move the Positioned Text Box on the topic page, use drag and drop to reposition it.
