Creating text-only popups

A text-only popup is specially formatted topic text that displays information in a popup window when clicked. This is not a true link because the popup window only displays text — not topics or Web pages. At the same time you format the topic text as a "hotspot," you also enter the text that users read in the popup window.

Example:

To create a text-only popup:

  1. In the WYSIWYG Editor, select text for which you want to create the text-only popup.

  2. From the Insert menu, select Text-only Popup.

  3. When the small popup window opens, type text directly onto the window.

  4. When you are finished, press ENTER.
