Use the Numbered tab to change or apply a numbered list style and to change the start number in a list. This tab displays five WYSIWYG samples of the numbered styles that you can use with your list. To apply a style, click the WYSIWYG sample so it appears depressed, and then click OK.
The numbered styles you can apply include:
Lower-case letters arranged alphabetically (a, b, c, etc.)
Upper-case letters arranged alphabetically (A, B, C, etc.)
Traditional (decimal) numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.)
Lower-case Roman numerals (i, ii, iii, etc.)
Upper-case Roman numerals (I, II, III, etc.)
Number positioned within paragraph: Places the list number in the paragraph text rather than outside the text.
Restart numbering at: Indicates a specific number (or letter) at which to start the next item in a list.
Note: The first thumbnail in the upper-left of the dialog removes numbers from the list items.
