In the WYSIWYG Editor, select the block of text to format.
On the toolbar, click the
tool for the formatting option you want to apply (for example, click 
to bold selected text).
An inline style is a block of text within a topic that is formatted directly in the WYSIWYG Editor — it is not linked to other files in the project. Use inline styles whenever you want to format individual elements in a topic without making changes to either style sheets or embedded styles. Regardless of the style method you choose, you have the same formatting elements available.
Note: Remember that inline styles override the properties of any embedded styles or styles in style sheets that may be associated with the topic.
