Use the Project Manager to rename your custom folders. All references to the files in the folder are automatically updated, so your project will not include broken links.
WARNING! Avoid using the Windows Explorer to rename folders because the project references will break, resulting in broken links, missing images in topics, etc. Paths are not automatically updated if you do not rename the folders inside the program. For further information, see Safeguarding your work.
Click the Project tab.
Open the HTML Files (Topics) folder and select the folder to rename (you don't need to open it).
Right-click the folder and select Rename.
Type the new name, and then press ENTER. The folder is renamed and all references are automatically updated.
Tip: The View menu includes a feature called Empty Folders (accessible from the Project tab). When on, all of your custom folders are displayed, regardless of whether they contain files. When this feature is off, only the folders that contain files are displayed.
