An embedded style is saved in an individual HTML file. It can be applied to any text or paragraphs in the same file, but it is not available to other files. Embedded styles are created in much the same way as styles in style sheets, although they only apply to the topic that is open in the WYSIWYG Editor (they are unique to the topics that use them). If the topic includes inline styles or if it is attached to a style sheet, inline styles have priority over all other styles. Embedded styles have priority over attached style sheets.
