Changing embedded styles

To change an embedded Style:

  1. Open the topic in the WYSIWYG Editor.

  2. On the Format menu, select Styles. The Styles dialog opens.

  3. Under List, select All Styles.

  4. Under Available in (lower-left), select the topic name (not the style sheet name). This allows you to modify embedded styles for this specific topic.

  5. From the Styles list, select the style you want to change (for example, Normal).

  6. Click Modify. The Modify Style dialog opens.

  7. Click the Format button, and select any of the options on the drop-down list to change the style.

  8. When you finish modifying the style, click OK.

  9. Repeat steps 4 through 8 for each style you want to edit, and then click OK to save all the style changes.

Example: To change the style "Heading 1," select the style, and then click Modify. At the Modify Style dialog, click the Format button, and then select Font from the drop-down list. Set the font to Arial. From Size, select 36 pt. From Color, select Navy. Click OK.
