Changing Dynamic HTML effects

After you've inserted a Dynamic HTML effect, you can edit the properties.

To change the properties of a Dynamic HTML effect:

  1. Select the topic item with the applied effect that you want to change. Applied DHTML effects are indicated by hash marks, such as these arrows:

  1. Right-click on the topic item and select DHTML Effects. The DHTML dialog opens, allowing you to change the effects settings.

  2. Change settings as necessary and click OK.

  3. To preview your changes, click .

Notes:

  • Dynamic HTML effects require Internet Explorer 4.0 or later (if they are used as part of a style, they require Internet Explorer 5.0 or later). Dynamic HTML effects are not supported by Netscape Navigator.

  • If you're using Internet Explorer 4, you can successfully apply any Dynamic HTML effect to a paragraph by placing the paragraph in a text box or a positioned text box.
