Using Style Templates

The style template represents perhaps the most versatile tool available to you in converting traditional print documents over to the HTML electronic publishing environment. No longer is a colorful and creative layout a costly luxury. WebConvert streamlines the process, allowing you to simply and effectively enhance the image and impact of your Web documentation. Color, differing fonts, vivid graphics, as well as the inclusion of active links to associated multimedia files can all be used to transform previously passive documents into a new, dynamic experience.

There are a number of ways in which you can create the right aesthetic "feel" to your new Web documents. You can:

Choose a pre-defined style template from an extensive list of general formats, or use a style template from an outside source.

Modify an existing style template to meet your needs.
Create an entirely new style template using WebConvert's default settings as a basic foundation.

Recall that WebConvert supports the simultaneous conversion of multiple files. While other conversion products require each file's output style to be configured separately, WebConvert applies your selected or configured style template to all the files which appear in the Source File list. This feature both reduces the amount of time required to convert a number of documents and ensures consistency in the final output.

Choosing a Style Template
