About registering
You can register Knot online via credit card using
the Kagi Online Order Processing service.
Alternatively, you can use the "Register"
application that came with this software to make a customized form, which
you then send to Kagi, whose address is given on the
form. Several different means of payment are supported.
After Kagi processes your payment, which takes
a day or two, they e-mail you the registration code in a message with the
subject "Thanks for your payment". If you don't have e-mail, you
can ask for the code on a postcard instead.
Lastly, click the "Register" button inside
the filter, and type in your code.
The latest updates are available on the Knot page.
Although Kagi cannot provide technical support
for the software, the author is more than willing to answer questions.
What is the Four Filter Special?
The Four
Filter Special is a bundle of plug-in filters
which includes SolarCell, India
Ink, FeatherGIF, and Tesselation all for $39. Separately, they would cost $70.
What do I do with the registration code
once I've got it?
To enter the registration code, do this:
- Launch Knot.
- Under the apple menu, choose the "Register..."
item.
(If there is no "Register" item, it
means somebody has already input the code on this particular computer,
and so you're already finished.)
- A dialog box will appear. Type your code into
the blank.
- Click OK.
.
- A thank-you message will appear. You're done.
