IExplorer: URLs

This is the Internet Explorer URLs screen. From here you can manage various URLs used by Internet Explorer.

From this screen you can manage various URLs and properties of Internet Explorer which can be hijacked by malicious applications.

  1. This is the page which internet Explorer goes to when you start Internet Explorer. Click the Blank Page button to make it blank.
     
  2. These are various search URLs which Internet Explorer uses. to restore it click the Default button.
     
  3. These are the prefixes added by Internet Explorer when you type an address. Ex: if you type xyz.com and default prefix is http:// then Internet Explorer will automatically make the URL as http://xyz.com. Same with www prefix.
     
  4. After making the changes click the Apply button bring them in effect.
