You can move the Tutor Docker window to another location to make it easier to work.

In the Image Window, drag the Tutor Docker window tab to a new location.

You can zoom out to improve your view.

  1. Open the Object/Mask Tools flyout, and click the Object Picker tool.
  2. In the Image Window, click anywhere.
  3. Press F3 twice to zoom out.

You can change the purple background to rust.

  1. If the Objects Docker window is not open, click Window menu, Dockers, Objects to open it.
  2. Open the Object/Mask Tools flyout, and click the Object Picker tool.
  3. In the Image Window, click the purple square to select it.
  4. On the on-screen Color Palette, hold down the mouse button on the orange color swatch.
  5. On the Orange Color Palette, right-click a rust color.
  6. Open the Fill Tools flyout, and click the Fill tool.
  7. In the Image Window, click the purple square to fill it with rust.


You can create a gradient fill by changing the yellow square to blue.

  1. Open the Object/Mask Tools flyout, and click the Object Picker tool.
  2. Ensure that the Objects Docker window is open.
  3. In the Objects Docker window, click the yellow thumbnail to select it.
  4. At the bottom of the Objects Docker window, ensure that the Lock Object Transparency button is enabled.
  5. Open the Fill Tools flyout, and click the Interactive Fill tool.
  6. In the Image Window, drag the Interactive Fill tool from the top center of the yellow square to the bottom center of the yellow square.
  7. From the Interactive Fill Style list box on the Property Bar, choose From Paint To Paper.
  8. On the on-screen Color Palette, drag a dark blue color swatch to the top gradient node in the Image Window.
  9. On the on-screen Color Palette, drag the cyan color swatch to the bottom gradient node in the Image Window.
  10. Press ENTER to apply the gradient fill.

You can save your file to safeguard your work.

  1. Click File menu, Save As.
  2. Choose the drive where you want to save from the Save In list box.
  3. Double-click the folder in which you want to save the file.
  4. In the File Name box, type a filename, and click Save.
