You can use guidelines and the Knife tool to crop the orange background
image.

- Click View menu, Guidelines Setup.
- Enable the Show Guidelines and Snap To Guidelines check boxes.
- In the list of categories, click Horizontal.
- From the Units list box, choose Pixels.
- In the box, type 1200.
- Click the Add button.
- Click OK.
- Click anywhere on the orange background image to select it.
- Open the Shape
Edit flyout, and click the Knife
tool.
- Hold down SHIFT, and position the Knife tool at the intersection of the
guideline and the left edge of the orange background image.
- When the cursor changes to an upright position, click to mark the start
of the cut line (do not release SHIFT).
- Position the Knife tool at the intersection of the guideline and the right
edge of the orange background image.
- When the cursor changes to an upright position, click to mark the end of
the cut line, and release Shift.
- Click Edit menu, Cut.
