Virtual Memory Alert
|
........The Problem........
You don't have enough free space on your boot disk to support
a swap file. Because of this, virtual memory (VM) has been disabled.
........The Solutions........
- Do nothing. The BeOS will work without virtual memory,
although it may not work very well. The more RAM you have, the more pleasant your non-VM
experience will be.
-
Re-enable virtual memory. To re-enable VM, you can...
- Free up some disk space by deleting some files, or...
- Install BeOS on a larger disk.
...and then reboot.
