Examples of English phrases with insertion

The following types of phrases with insertion are accessible:

a) Verb + [...] + postpositive

Here the postpositive can be expressed by:

b) Verb + [...] + preposition + [noun group]  

Here the preposition MUST be followed by the noun group:

c) Verb + [...] + adjective (or participle)

Here the verb is usually the verb 'to be' or copulative verb:

d) Verb + [...] + object

This type of phrase with insertion is used for changing the translation of the verb in combination with the definite noun in the function of direct object. You may also change the translation of the given noun. If you don't change the translation of the given noun, the program will take it from the current dictionary.

This type of phrase with insertion does not need to specify the maximum number of inserted words.

This phrase with insertion will be recognized, if the given noun functions as the direct object (e.g., 'He took the last exam'), or if it is a subject of the given verb in passive construction (e.g., 'An exam was taken by him').
