I. General Information

WinDVR provides users with high quality digital recording
of TV broadcasts to the hard drive or other storage devices
for future viewing. The software-only product allows users
to preview TV programs from a TV tuner source and encode it
into MPEG-2 video format IN REAL TIME. A multiple video preview
window supports optimal channel surfing and TV control
capabilities. Easy-to-use video quality controls simplify the
recording process. InterVideo's WinDVR also offers an iAccess
Electronic Program Guide to help with scheduling recordings.

WinDVR was developed to fully support Microsoft's DirectShow
technology and works with all WDM-compliant TV Tuner devices.
WinDVR uses InterVideo's DirectShow 32-bit audio and video
capture and multiplexing filters, which dramatically outperform
Video for Windows 16-bit legacy drivers. WinDVR is 100% compatible
with Microsoft Windows 98, SE, 2000 and Millennium.

Use the topics in the help file manual to get the most from WinDVR.
