Appearance Properties
Themes
Themes are a convenient way of changing and saving
the look of your enable Virtual Desktop mini-window.
They are saved to a file rather than in the registry to make it easy to share your themes
with others.
Selecting a Theme
A theme can be selected from the list of available themes in the Theme
dropdown list. The theme will be displayed in the preview window.
Adding New Themes
Adding new themes that you get from others is simple. Simply copy the theme files into
the Themes directory within the directory in which enable Virtual Desktop is installed (eg., C:\Program Files\enable Software\enable Virtual
Desktop\Themes). The next time you open the Appearance dialog the new themes will
be available in the dropdown list.
Saving a Theme
Once you are happy with the configuration of your mini-window, you might wish to save
the configuration as a theme, to make it easy to go back to the same setup at a later
stage. To save a theme click the Save As button. Enter a name for your theme and
click OK. You can share this theme with others by copying the theme file and any
textures you have used from the Themes directory within the directory in which enable Virtual Desktop is installed (eg,. C:\Program Files\enable Software\enable Virtual
Desktop\Themes).
TIP: The names of texture files not
contained in the themes directory will not be found if those files are not available on
the machine you are copying the theme to. A simple way to avoid this is to copy the
texture files into your Themes directory and reconfigure your themes to use these
local files.
Deleting a Theme
To delete a theme select the theme you wish to delete and click the Delete button.
The theme file will be deleted but all texture files will be left intact.
