The Modulation Matrix

The modulation matrix permits the routing of up to 4 sources of modulation to 4 modulation targets. In the example shown LFO 1 modulates the pulse width of the first oscillator and the key velocity modulates the volume of both oscillators. The second entry has no effect since modulation depth is 0.

The sources are shown on the left, the destinations are shown on the right. The modulation amount is displayed in the middle. To change a routing click on the source or destination you want to change. It will become a menu which lets you select the new source or destination. To remove a modulation simply select the "- - - - -" entry in the menu.

To change the modulation amount just click on the amount displayed and move the mouse (while keeping the mouse button pressed) to the left or right increasing or decreasing the value until the desired amount has been reached.

A negativ modulation amount inverts the waveform of the modulation source.

There are 14 sources of modulation selectable:

they can modulate the following 5 targets:

Furthermore the pitch of the oscillators can be modulated by an envelope .
