StudioLine Explorer

StudioLine’s own Explorer is a key component that enables many of the advanced capabilities of the software. It functions similar to the familiar Windows Explorer, providing access to different classes of objects: the files on your computer and local network as well as on StudioLine-internal objects.

Opening the Explorer

Many StudioLine features, such as the import, rely extensively on the Explorer. They will open it as necessary and immediately display the appropriate class of objects.

Here are only the most common ways, how you would directly open the StudioLine Explorer on your own:

Multiple Explorer windows may be opened simultaneously, allowing for drag and drop operations between the folders in different windows.

Understanding the Explorer

The StudioLine Explorer employs three panes.

Where applicable, dragging an object from the folder or content pane to the trashcan will delete it. For a list of other supported actions, click the right mouse button on object to open its context menu.

For an in-depth explanation of the StudioLine Explorer panel and the different object classes, refer to the Reference Guide.
