Open a page or layout.
Open the StudioLine Explorer for the Image Archive.
Browse to the folder “Design\Buttons” to locate a button set to match your taste.
Drag any number of buttons to the container for consistent spacing. Arrange the buttons in a logical order and select them all.
Choose Image Toolbox from the Edit menu.
Use Invert Image if you want to reverse black and white areas of the button.
To achieve special effects, experiment with tools such as Emboss and Simple Backdrop. Change the tool order in the Active Tools list and assess the outcome.
Open the colorize tool and apply a color.
Use the Buttonize and Shadow tool to give your buttons a raised appearance.
Finally, drag the buttons to their final location on the page.
Choose Position Anchor from the Edit menu if the buttons should maintain a relative position from the container.
Open the Page Editor.
Select a rectangular or square image. (You will find basic geometric shapes in the ImageArchive\Designs folder.)
Choose Image Toolbox from the Edit menu.
Open the Scale Absolute tool.
Turn the option “Enlarging Allowed” on, and the option “Maintain Proportions” off.
For a horizontal ruler, enter a height of 1 pixel and a width that accommodates the length you need.
For vertical ruler, enter a width of 1 pixel and a height that accommodates the length you need.
Open the Page Editor.
Select a circular image. (You will find basic geometric shapes in the ImageArchive\Designs folder.)
Choose Image Toolbox from the Edit menu.
Open the Scale Absolute tool.
Turn the option “Enlarging Allowed” on, and the option “Maintain Proportions” off.
Enter the desired height and width for your ellipsis.
Open the Page Editor.
Select a rectangular or square image. (You will find basic geometric shapes in the ImageArchive\Designs folder.)
Choose Image Toolbox from the Edit menu.
Use the Rotate tool to turn the image 45 degrees
Use the Image Alignment tool to turn the image back 45 degrees. (Watch the image on the page – it should appear perfectly horizontal.)
Crop all four sides evenly.
